Teak deck laying materials

All Teak we offer and use is of naturally grown aged Burmese origin. Owing to our close relationship and cooperation with our suppliers in Asia, the materials used by Royal Deck are of the highest quality available. Teak decking quality, quarter sawn, fine grained and specially selected, following super yacht quality standards, with a uniform color after "the sun-bath" and reasonable straight grain is used.
A specification of the quality with characteristics will be agreed during contract negotiations.
In principle any dimension is possible, but most used are 60mm, 72mm and 96mm wide for planking
and 90mm, 120mm and 140mm wide for margin boards.
Lengths from 3 meter is most required, in special projects longer lengths can be supplied but are relatively expensive.

Caprails we can offer from Teak either Mahagony. Solid or composed, varnished or unfinished.
Our experienced workers can make what you think of, real craftsmanship combined with modern machinery as CNC create your dreams.

For caulking and bonding of the Teak decks our personnel is certified by Sika for applying Sika products. If specially required we can also offer other brands like Saba or TDS.
We can also offer the leveling of the decks with Sika Transfloor, a 2 component polyurethane leveling compound with excellent properties.
Using Sika Transfloor for leveling, Sikaflex-298 for bonding and Sikaflex-290 for caulking we guarantee a long-life use of the decks without problems as water penetration and release from the sub-deck. Due to a superb leveling with the slightly flexible and noise-reducing Transfloor a plywood sub-deck is expendable and is excluding possible rot or corrosion.
